Project day at Centro de Padres, Colegio Huelquen Montessori, Santiago de Chile

Thirteen classrooms at the school worked together to represent Chilean heritage in a work of art and created a giant puzzle of the Moai, the Statues of Easter Island that are still an Official New7Wonders of the World Finalist.

On June 1, 13 classes at Colegio Huelquen Montessori came together to assemble the giant (2.5 meters high) wooden Moi puzzle, which was creatively designed and decorated to highlight Chilean art. Images above detail the students early work and the final result.
