The Centro Educativo Piaget in Merida, Mexico Students at Centro Educativo

Piaget, a constructivist school on the Yucatan Peninsula (where New7Wonders candidate Chichén Itzá is located), have created a video to educate children, parents and teachers in the school on the New7Wonders project and highlight information about Chichén Itzá.

More than 1,000 students from the Centro Educativo Piaget voted individually for their favorite candidates. In the computing classroom, students were guided on the way to register and students who had previously not had an email address created one. Students under third grade were invited to vote at home with their parental supervision.
