Project Day at Clayton Middle School, Clayton, NC, USA
The Global Connections elective class at Clayton Middle School conducted a school-wide vote for the top New7Wonders. Each students became a campaign manager for a specific candidate and researched their site, as well as the country it is located in. See below to learn more about their presentations.
Each of the "campaign managers" created campaign posters, PowerPoint presentations, board games, and models of their candidates. They cast a school-wide vote lasting 7 days. Voting was done in school, as well as online. The students tallied votes and won prizes if their candidate made it to the top 7. The votes were counted and over 1700 votes were cast. The 50 staff members and 800 students were very excited. The school is very proud to be part of history.
